Hey yall,

I am a senior at A&M, and I've been wanting to propose to my girlfriend at a spot on the Brazos River that was sentimental to us. I have permission from the land owner but the land is close to impossible to access without a boat due to dense foliage. Because of this (and because I wanted to fish), I bought a Jon boat.

Does anyone know of a river access point to the Brazos between 60 and 21?

Thank yall in advance

Try the Outdoors board or the Aggieland board

Also, "too young"

Less than 20 minutes for an Association mention. Incredible GB stuff

I like this plan. She kinda has to say yes. I mean, there's only one boat.

Also, too young.

So y'all first boinked along the Brazos.

I didn't want to be the one to bring it up but knew someone would.

Hope the poison ivy wasn't too bad.

I recently donated one of my helicopters for a similar request. Maybe you could drop in. DM me.

Get married and have tons of kids.

If the right woman there's no "too young".

You can't make up for lost time. Life is too short to wait.

May the Lord bless you both!

This ups the ante quite a bit. "There are two ways off this helicopter."

Way too young.

I think the place we used to go to Millican "Falls" way back when got bought out by some kayaking group that believes waterways should be preserved for kayakers exclusively.

OP can find one of those groups that has access.

Wouldn't think of launching a John boat around there anyway. Too steep and rocky.

The Ag says he is proposing to her. He doesn't give a wedding date. My wife and I waited two years before getting married.
And no it's not too young. If you find the right woman and you know it then it's great to start your life together asap.
I had graduated about two years before hitching up. I knew the minute I met her I would marry her.
It must of been right cause on in April we will celebrate our 50th Anniversary.
My only regret is I didn't marry her sooner. I would love to have had those extra years now.
My dad married my mom when she was just 17….right as he got back from
WWII. They stayed together all those years…till he passed in 1992.

A person who was born while I was in college, and in the same year I started posting on Texags, is about to graduate and get married.

Wait...am I old?
