I'm working on getting an M47 Patton Tank hauled from Fort Hood to Bryan. It only weighs 44 tons. I think Amanda the LUV truck might pull it.

-Our dog Kaneki took up my half of the bed last night and he wouldn't budge. I mean, at all! So I got very little sleep.

-Whatever happened to AgBroid? I don't even know if I'm remembering his name correctly. AD? The good people?

-I'll probably talk to coworkers later.

-I think I've looked at every house on the market between $400-650k in north DFW over the past 12 months. Every. One. I think I'm finally starting to get tired of it. I'm leaning towards along El Dorado in McKinney or in Plano around Hunters Glenn, but I feel like I'll pick wrong no matter what. Why did this area have to change so much? Visas...grrr

When I was engaged in such activities I recall that for the M60 series we had to use a long, heavy, pry bar to disengage the final drive gears for the driving sprocket for the tracks at the rear of the tank to facilitate towing. No easy task for certain.

The Army (Or whatever govt entity that owns it) basically said come and get it. I'm not sure if it rolls and I bet the hatches are welded shut. Maybe I should leave this to the hauling company or try to get some help from the Army, as I'm just Radar O'Reilly.

I've got a lot of travel coming up this year so I decided to revamp my travel WFH set up. I got a foldable keyboard, laptop stand, and a dual screen extender that all came in yesterday. I just need to find some time to set it up today and test it out.

Quick research tells me that Fort Hood is 1014 feet above sea level. Bryan is 361 feet above sea level. So you can just put the tank in neutral and let gravity do the work. Maybe just a light nudge to get it moving at the very start.

Greatness.

Went to bed by 11pm. Later than planned. Slept until my alarm at 5:45am though so that's good.

Really good early meetings. A couple more to go and then I can get some actual work done.

Caught the mouse that has been avoiding traps. Changed trap brands and it worked. The others were not sensitive enough. The new ones are what I have used in the past. You have to be careful setting them but they work.

Need some movement.

Opened my windows to enjoy the warm day. These cheap rental blinds look to be toast. Don't think they're going to close again. South facing window too (lots of sun). Should probably get this replaced before summer comes.

I'm taking Metamucil and eating a bunch of veggies

- Found a screw in my tire wall so new tire required even though my tires are already brand new. Neat.
- Fence is finished! Puppydog loves the freedom and so do I.
- Just in time to pick up Uncle Mark tomorrow so he couldn't micromanage the fence guys
- He wants to go to Nebraska Furniture Mart to look for a new couch tomorrow while in Omaha and that makes me want to kill myself.

Doesn't it hurt to sit on that scooter?
