The easiest way to avoid golf balls breaking your windows is to not choose to live on a golf course. Dumb *******.

That video is a couple of years old, but I get that guy is still pissed.

And if he knows the window is $681, this isn't the first time it's happened.

All the houses along one course I used to play had practically shatter-proof windows on the side of the house facing the course.

Not sure why they wouldn't do that here.

We had a group that would meet every now and then at some public course in Austin near the university. I'd shank at least 2-3 every week into traffic (not on purpose of course).

Cars parked by the golf course along Jersey back in the 80's and early 90's would have smashed glass from people with a slice in their swing.

Thats the richest guy he's ever met in person (probably) and he's mad over $681?

I remember driving south on Texas Avenue one day. Out of the corner of my eye was a golf ball bouncing along with the flow of traffic. At some point it disappeared under the car directly in front of me, bounced under it like a pinball, and shot out on the backside about 50' in the air missing my truck. Last I saw of it was in my mirror following along with the traffic. Hope it didn't break any windshields.

I have seen some bounce across Texas, Jersey/Bush, and on campus across Bizzell.

My golf skills do not allow me to be critical of the golfers that made those shots.

In Texas, generally the golfer is not responsible for the broken window, the homeowner assumes the risk. The exception would be if the golfer was behaving recklessly or intentionally hit at the house.

That was probably mine. My bad. But yeah the campus course has 3 holes along the edge that always make me nervous about hitting cars

Never makes me nervous. I still hit the cars. But I'm not nervous about it.

I was not in the foursome at the time this happened, but years ago I had some friends playing who got in a beef with another foursome over something trivial. They argued and went their own ways, but they still glared at each other when they saw each other during play. One of my friends was heard to say, "I am going to hit my ball toward them just so I can yell at that guy some more!"

First time in Vegas we went there to play in a 2-day tournament. We gambled and drank all night and went straight to the course from the Casino. At this point I cannot even feel my legs. I hit a straight push slice that I watched in slow motion go right into somebody's big ass window. The guy comes out and looks up at the shattered window.

I have to admit that I am scared because I am a broke college kid. I did the right thing and pulled up and apologized to him. He laughed and said, "This is the price of living on a golf course, have a good round." Butter teeth is being a dick in this circumstance, surprise, surprise.

I also got a windshield teeing off on #10 at Bryan Muni back in the day.

My team won the tournament and got a 4-day all expenses paid golf trip back to Vegas! Good times.

Friend of mine who was kind of a big timer in Austin said that Mack took the UNC job cause he needed the money.

Great recruiter - piss poor financial planner.

I've thought about this video clip a couple of times today while doing chores and it pisses me off that he's such an a-hole.

He should move if he can't afford to live there (which includes assuming responsibility for errant golf shots, among other things).

What a dick. He still has learning to do and he better get busy with that because he doesn't have much time left.

How is that even possible? He was making $3 million a year from 2003 to 2013. And prior to that he was making north of mid six figures for at least a decade. It's like he was a 25 year old ball player. Not sure I believe that.

I actually got a chance to talk to him about it recently, and I asked him how he managed to lose all that money. He said he spent most of it on booze, women, and fast cars and the rest, he just wasted.

When a guy like Johnny Manziel wants to play for you but you screw up his recruiting, that status goes away instantly
