I made reservations a week ago

• Slept meh - had a weird dream. Will probably want to nap but probably no time.
• Started working at 7:30AM. This travel isn't going to do itself!
• Client said they may cancel their trip because they got later dining than wanted- its full penalty and would be nearly $30k loss. Hope I can try to get them other dining (it wasn't my fault it was late).
• Drop kiddo off at her new job. Ready to find her another car.
• Go look at 3 houses today with my momma.
• Then back to travel work.
• Mother's Day dinner at my inlaws. We are gonna bring food, probably Gringos.

Overcast rainy day in west Georgia/east Alabama. Following wife's Thursday surgery, our very large Sunday school class (among which are rabid Alabama fans) showed up with food yesterday: a delicious smoked pork roast, green beans, fresh fruit platter, baked sweet potatoes, pasta salad, green salad, a corn pudding casserole, and a chocolate chip cookie cake. Due to the carb load, we'll let the grandkids have the cake and heavy carb stuff while we retain the protein, vegetables and at the wife's insistence, the corn pudding casserole. Bless them for their thoughts and support for the meal prep because it represents their time, labor and resources to put together a food package like that and we are profoundly thankful.
So we start the day with coffee.
Because a good day starts with good coffee.
Make it a good one in spite of what the rest of human- or camelid-kind is up to.

I know. I'm not sure they knew they were in full penalty. Not sure if something else is going on. Hoping to salvage it. They also have a lot of future business booked so definitely want to keep them happy. (to reconfirm the dining isn't my fault, they do it on the app, she was just late and admitted to it).

Busy day ahead. Going to the laundromat and the grocery store today. Need to get coffee before I can do any of that. Letting Benny sleep until 10.

Dense fog and 52F this morning. Fog has burned off, and we're 57F on our way up to 81F.

Hoping baseball plays better today than they did yesterday.

- tired, didn't sleep well
- out the door around 11am to help gf son move some things outta his dorm
- old balls now, so fell out of the bed of my pickup and freaked everyone out
- big abrasion but nothing broken
- shower and get ready for wedding tonight (not mine)
- it's a client so I can't even really let loose
- hopefully an early bedtime
