Not really politics related, but I just traveled along I-45 today and there were the most cops I have ever seen. Has to be world cup related.

I still don't know who Ella Langley is. All is know is some Euro on Twitter that has been blowing up was excited about being able to meet her.

1.) BOLO issued for wanted fugitive or armed suspects on that route and/or
2.) new kolache/donut establishments have opened.

Went to Houma 2 weeks ago from Hobson and see 1 cop, coming back on 59 from Wharton and it was a mess.

On a different note... one of my twin 35 years-old sons certified as a police officer on Friday. So another cop on the road. In TN.

I asked him a couple weeks ago, "What is your peeve? What will you not allow?".

"Someone has a phone in their hand while driving... they're getting a ticket. Period".

I'm just proud, and wanted to share that.

Signs posted on the HWY's in TN clearly state its against the law. So easy-peasy for him.

I got stopped on 79 just outside of Palestine on Saturday after seeing 5 DPS between OSR and Buffalo. Luckily, I was only going 65 in a 55 and right after the speed changed and just got a warning and a warning for no front lic plate.
I asked the officer why there were so many DPS and he said it was World Cup related.
Coming home Sunday there were 6 DPS between Buffalo and OSR - I was not speeding!

I got a ticket for changing lanes on Sam Houston without using a turn signal when there were no other cars around me. It's not like I was tailgating or weaving erraticly.

I can afford the ticket, so just laughed. But, if you know Houston, where using a turn signal is not considered politeness, but a sign of weakness, you'll get it. I was thinking a crackdown before July 4th weekend, but maybe both that and the World cup thing combined.

Good thing all the real crimes have been eradicated from TN.

Really crazy! Just yesterday, I saw 2 - Yes two police cruisers in Shiner in the 5 minutes it takes to go from one end of town to the other.

I think it's bullcrap that they just crashed the toll gate doing 98 and never paid to fix it. That's public property. Now I gotta pay to fix the damn toll gate they crashed just cause they had to let them truckers roll.

Very little visible LE in Missouri. You see someone pulled over in Columbia, and you wonder what they did, because you just don't see any sort of "traps" here. Be it speed traps, cops watching people run lights, whatever. You get pulled over in Columbia, and you've pissed off a cop.

Love listening to some of you idiots try to justify in your head why you were wrongly stopped by the police. Keep me laughing, dummies!
