  • Went to bed early. Woke up around 5:30 but was able to snooze a little after.
  • Just finished breakfast (leftover Gringos) and a crisp Diet Coke.
  • Sitting down to do travel work - I was NOT productive yesterday but need to be today.
  • Hubs is home - woohoo. Kiddo comes home early this afternoon from being gone a week.
  • It's my heavenly Father's birthday. I will go out to his gravesite either today or tomorrow.
  • Watch/listen to my kiddos softball games this weekend on GameChanger that she isn't attending.

Boring day today. Went to the laundromat this morning. Did it a little early so that Benny would be home and have his clothes put away before an online Minecraft tournament he's in started at noon. Cardinals and Royals have a weird off-day today, which reduces my interest in watching MLB baseball. The College World Series finals start tonight, but that isn't until 7:30. Computer part shopping until then (see above post).

If you have a Micro Center nearby, they have some pretty good deals. I was able to get a good setup with an i9 processor and a 4070 for about a grand last year.

Rained like hell out at the cabin around 6:00 AM, so I abandoned my plans to start building the side deck. I have no desire to get down in the mud to build it. I made some delicious coffee, tidied up the cabin, and came on back to Houston by way of BCS to pick up some ammo.
