Today's feel good story. The New York Mets are spending a couple of hundred K on this pooch to train him as a service dog. Skimmed the story, but great pics. This is 14 week old Howie.

  • Was up until 3:30 AM finishing a paper analyzing a Mozart piano sonata
  • Up at 6 AM because stuff to get done
  • Feel like hot garbage and delicious coffee will probably only make me feel like alert hot garbage
  • Recall service on the truck
  • Will probably take a nap around lunch time

  • Slept okay.
  • Was lazy til 8AM since it was my WFH day.
  • Diet Coke and Jimmy Dean mini sausage biscuit things for breakfast
  • Yesterday I went to the specialist after my under-the-weather issue last week. I had mentioned I had a photo but joked she probably didn't want to see it. She immediately said "Well I get sent DI** pics all the time - in a medical sense". (it was NOT a body part photo). I like her lol.
  • She thinks all is fine but going to have a CT of my kidneys with contrast. I was like oh great the stuff that makes you feel like you piss on yourself. Love it.
  • Hoping for a quiet day today although I have to tell someone at work some not great (but not horrible) news.
  • Travel work and kiddo softball tonight.

-On my way back from Miami
-Scotland didn't get the result were wanting but I still had a blast. This was an experience of a lifetime for my mom.
-Made some new friends and now have an invite to come and stay with them next year for the Isle of Man TT race
-My mom met someone who grew up less than 4 blocks away from her in Glasgow. Just wild
-Have fun out there folks!

I will give up MANY things, but not Diet Coke.

In fact, my kiddo is picking up Starbucks at my cost now just so she can then go get me a crisp McDonald's Diet Coke.

IOM was a hot mess for my clients this year. It was cold and I think very very windy (and maybe rain). I just know they said many events were canceled. They actually wanted to come home from London sooner but the flights were absurd. I didn't book the IOM part other than the flights so I didn't have a lot of details.

The rain definitely caused a bunch of cancellations this year. They were also trying shoot a IOM racing movie starring Channing Tatum at the time which also interfered with the events.

They really need to push it back one month
