My brother will be a freshman and wanted to know which fraternities were "the good ones." Any Suggestions? Opinions?

Depends on what kind of guy he is.

The preppy business school types generally go Fiji or KA. Most of those guys are pretty nice (the ones I've met anyway). I've also met some decent Pi Kapps, although some people don't really like them very much. The guys in Lambda Chi are really nice too, but I may be biased because I'm friends with most of them

I would stay away from Sig Ep or Delt.

Sig ep and KA are two of the better frats on campus. They both have awesome houses and quite a few solid members. Also both of them do quite a bit of community service espically the pledges around college station so they arent a bunch of money hores who dont care about anything. Solid group of guys and i would recommend both.

He needs to meet the guys and decide which he likes best. There isn't a "best" unless you are shallow and simply want to wear "name brand" letters.
