I like their songs and I think they're much better than many other bands out there!

i'm not sure it was ever cool to like those egotistical jackasses. they have a handful of good songs at best.

I still like them.

I think it is fine to like them. They will always have their handful of haters, but I think they have stood the test of time pretty good. Not like Richard Marx or Bryan Adams or something.

Canada has already apologized for Bryan Adams

First of all, it was never "cool" to like Oasis. At least not in the USA. Good band, though. Their first two records are very good, but overall they are overrated by the Brits especially who think they are the second coming of Jesus.

Oasis is still better than about 90% of all that crap out there right now. Their debut, Definitely Maybe, is a must own for anyone who likes rock music, and What's the Story(Morning Glory) is also really good too. When talking abot overrated British bands, the conversation begins and ends with radiohead, the most overrated band of all time

Also, Radiohead is awesome.

Radiohead is amazingly overrated

Seems to me if you like Radiohead you probably dont like Oasis and vice versa. I just picked up "In Rainbows" and I really dont like it and I tried.

I love oasis. I love Muse. I like some radiohead.

High and Dry, Karma Policy and Creep are all good songs, the rest I can live without.

Oasis is my favorite band, particularly because they're not popular in the US so I don't have to hear them overplayed on the radio, tv, etc. When a band can make a good album out of their b-sides from their previous three albums, I'd consider that pretty good. In fact, in my opinion most of their best songs are their b-sides, (Idler's Dream, Masterplan, Let's All Make Believe to name a few of the many.) Whenever I hear someone say they like Oasis, I get excited and ask what their favorite song is, if they name something from "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?", I generally become uninterested in finishing the conversation.

Radiohead would be good if they didn't play such crappy music. It is all slow and moany.

The Masterplan (B-side compilation) is better than most bands A material. Plus, there are a ton of great B-sides that arent even on the Masterplan. Round Are Way, Better People, The Fame, Eyeball Tickler, etc.

54, If someone said that Hello, Hey Now or Cast No Shadow were their favorite I would probably keep talking. Wonderwall, probably not.

Yeah, I agree, just it's usually Champagne Supernova or Wonderwall. And I have to say that someone in College Station has told me Champagne Supernova before and I judged them, but I kept talking and they actually had listened to their whole repertoire, seen the live etc, but they were from England.

Well, Oasis, Muse & Radiohead are ALL ****ing great live.

They're s#itty Beatles, but they're good s#hitty Beatles so it's ok.

They're the greatest band of all time.

They were on the Godzilla soundtrack. If that doesn't mean you are cool, then what does.

As for radiohead. Add paranoid android to that list of good ones.

Great show.

If you like Oasis and haven't gotten the Beady Eye album yet, you should. It's not teh best thing ever recorded, but it's definitely worth listening to. The recording and production on Liam's vocals finally sound more like the early Oasis Definitely Maybe era rather thant the subdued echo sound on Heathen Chemistry and beyond. It's got promise.
