I have been a huge Ryan Bingham fan for a few years - basically since Mescalito came out. I know that he previously released (independent) Wishbone Saloon and Dead Horses, and have heard a few songs from both. I can't find the damn things anywhere. Does anyone know where you can find either/both? I'd do just about anything to get my hands on them.

I've had Dead Horses for some time from Cactus Music in Houston. I don't have Wishbone Saloon though.
Dead Horses was pretty widely available but for a short time. Wishbone Saloon was a lot more limited. You should be able to find the mp3's for both on file sharing sites but if you have trouble I could probably email them to you. There is also Poor Boys Amen before Wishbone Saloon and before that, Lostbound Rails. I have the mp3's for Poor Boys Amen. He sounds super young and clean voiced in that one. Lostbound Rails is truly "lost" as far as I can tell.

I have an Unreleased Version of Dead Horses and Wishbone Saloon on my computer as well as the released Dead Horses. The kicker is I live in Abilene.
I've got all that plus tons of old stuff on 4 track. You might be interested in this, technically the first vinyl release...

Eagles Nest show is badass. Only live version you're gonna find of a few of those songs and early versions of other songs.
Without a doubt. It's quickly become my favorite.
Is there anything special on Dead Horses? Looks like just about all those songs were re-recorded on Mescalito.
Some are arranged differently then they appear on Mescalito.

I think it was Wishbone Saloon he was offering signed copies of as thank you gifts for folks that donate a certain amount for his Wife's movie project. If you follow him on FB or Instagram he was posting new stuff for the last few weeks related to that fundraising.
