Does anyone else watch this show? Sometimes I think it's not that good but I can't stop watching it for some reason. Most of the characters are incredibly annoying.

I enjoyed the first 2 seasons enough to keep watching. I have this season on DVR, but haven't watched any of them yet. Is it like 3 or 4 episodes in?

Trying to find time for this season. Have enjoyed the first two.

The first season was great. The 2nd season was aimless and I'm not sure what Gordan's illness has to do with the premise of the show.

So far the 3rd season is good. I wish it looked more 80s though. A few people in the show look like they're from the 80s, but most do not. I heard some interesting music at Joe's party and SoundHounded them. Turns out they're from the 90s?? Why are they deliberately trying to stay away from styles, music etc from the 80s, if they're doing a show set in the 80s?

have the first 3 eps from this season on dvr and can't seem to bring myself to watch them.

any feedback on this season? 5 eps on the dvr and am just not interested in starting the season for some reason. now that football is here just moves it further down the priority list.

I have only watched the first 3 eps this season but I would say they are worth a watch if you liked season 1 and 2.

I'm watching and enjoying. The character dynamics are pretty fascinating in this show.

I miss when it was set in Richardson though. California just doesn't have the same appeal to me.

Watched the first season, I thought it would have been a better show if they had just focused on the girl and the sales guy more.

But the whole point of the show is the Jobs/Wozniak dynamic between Joe and Gordon.

Yeah, I guess I just found the chick the most interesting character, with joe the second most. I guess you always need a straight man though.

Well really, the most interesting character is Boz.

I thought the show truly found itself in season two. The shift to focus on the women was an inspired pivot. Season one was good, but it started to flounder and had no where truly interesting to go after the final episode, had they stayed the course. Joe always felt like a lesser version of Don Draper anyway, and his character just never caught on in the way the writers intended. I agree that Gordon's illness was stupid and basically filler in season two, since they had to do something with him and Joe, and I still think they both feel a bit like extra baggage in season three, but I love the Cameron/Donna dynamic so much more, and watching those two try to navigate that world feels fresh and new, as opposed to the Jobs/Woz facsimile that would have been. Halfway into season three and I'm still enjoying this show as much as I ever have. It's definitely not appointment viewing, and it certainly feels aimless at times, but it's an enjoyable hour every time I watch.

(And yes, Boz is the best, hands down.)

I'm behind 2 episodes.....but really enjoying this season so far

One of my favorite shows on tv. I haven't started watching this season yet.

That's what I thought too but Joe is a strange character so you never know haha

I thought this week's episode was one of the best of the entire series. Felt so cinematic at times, in terms of drama. Very Social Network-esque. Really loved it.

I didn't think it would happen but I'm very much looking forward to another season. This season has been probably the best one yet and I'm interested to see where season 4 takes it. I also really like when they know it's the final season so they can write a proper ending.

The last two episodes of this season air tomorrow night.

Agreed. Finally had a chance to finish it over the weekend. What a bold move to jump four years in the future, and it worked brilliantly. I don't think I've ever seen a show increase this much in quality from season to season. Cannot wait for the final season now.

For those interested, Andy Greenwald had a really great podcast last week with the showrunners about the finale and the series as a whole. Had no idea they're in their early thirties and had never even written for television before...

Yep.

I watched the 2 finales last night and thought "did I miss a few episodes?". Especially when Gordon approached Donna in the bar, I figured they were just playing around, but then I realized they are divorced. Didn't the previous episode finish with Mutiny's IPO failing? Such a strange yet ultimately awesome leap.

Compared to the first 2 (good) seasons, this one has been great in Silicon Valley.

Yes....have to say this was the best season so far. Last hour or so was kind of meh...but that was obviously setting up for next season. Needed more Boz.

I agree she is hotter, because she doesn't wear mom clothes anymore. She also revealed her true colors I thought. I knew the moment she told Cam she would get rid of Joe if she asked, that was going to be her undoing.

And where is she running off to? Switzerland?? I'm guessing she's going to cause trouble next season.
