Has anyone else seen this Showtime documentary? It centers around three men, one American, one Russian, one Cuban, who during the 1980's & 90's facilitated Columbian drug trade by sending toys & goodies to Columbia. The documentary centers around their attempt to purchase a military submarine after the collapse of the USSR for delivery to Columbian drug cartels. The doc features the three main characters as well as a number of DEA agents who worked the case known as Operation Odessa.
It's hilarious. The language is rough and there are strip bar nudity photos - so be forewarned for family viewing... but it's funny as hell. It tells like a crime 'caper' movie.

"A narc, a DEA agent I knew, called me and said, 'There is this true crime caper of a lifetime, one of the best I've heard in my career -- there's a crazy Russian gangster named Tarzan who once sold a submarine to a Colombian drug cartel. He's locked up in a Panamanian prison and he has a BlackBerry. Do you want his phone number?'" says Russell. "And I told him 'Hell yes.'"
