Shockingly decent flick
It wasn't terrible. I liked Kurt Russell as Santa.
We had it on in the background while my wife was wrapping presents and I was drinking beer & eggnog.

The movie started slow but once Russell joined in it was pretty good.

We watched it as a family and thought it was a great family Christmas movie.
Saw it pop up on Netflix and gave it a watch.
Kurt Russell as a badass 'fit' Santa who hates saying 'HoHoHo'...love it. I'll rewatch it for that alone.
Was actually a decent storyline with a good message. Adding it to our annual Christmas movie rotation.

I didn't have high expectations but it turned out to be very enjoyable and a fun movie.
Watched it last night with my wife, entertaining and fun.
I am not the Six Million Dollar Man, but I might need that surgery. "We have the technology, we can rebuild him!"
The gravy house had fun watching it the past weekend.
I loved that you could tell how much fun Kurt Russell was having playing the role. Always makes a movie better when you see actors enjoying themselves.

Kiddos liked it as well. I am biased because I like Russell so much, so I loved him here if course. Fun movie, and we will have it in our normal Christmas rotation.
Watched it last week with my son and he enjoyed it, as did I. You can't go wrong with Kurt Russell playing a biker-esque Santa.
enjoyed this one with my wife and teenage daughter... only disappointment really was the elves

I almost passed on it because the cover just showed Santa's feet and those elves. Once I clicked and saw it was Kurt Russell, damn straight I was going to watch it. Jack Burton always wins!
Does it spend much time on 'belief' in Santa and/or kids doubting he is real? My kids aren't there yet, and I don't want to introduce that thought.

Same with my kids. We are trying to keep the magic as long as possible. That said, the movie treated the topic great for our perspective and certainly didn't ruin anything.
The part I saw you could tell the older brother was going to tell the little sister, but on his own he thought better of it.

Watched it about a week ago. I looked it alot. Kurt Russell is one of my favorite actors.

Then it's perfect for the kids. It does talk about belief, but in a good way, and ends great.
I had my doubts but turned out to be pretty solid.

Nephew stayed with us last night and he wanted to watch it again this morning - I hadn't seen it yet. I figured I would do some stuff while he watched but I ended up watching the entire thing with him. Really enjoyed it!

It does a pretty good job of explaining how the Santa thing works in a way that's plausible to a modern 10 year old. I think the movie actually changed my oldest from Lean Doubter to Lean Believer.
It does have an "oh sh*t" moment where you think the older brother is about to spill the beans. I think its in there to fake out the adults.
Whole family watched it last night, including a teenage son and we all enjoyed it.

If Santa has a Big Trouble in Little China style to him, i'm In. Is a younger, still hot Kim Cattrell in it by chance? Just hoping for a Christmas miracle!
