I am a podcast newb, so I know this is old.
If you like Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, you may like this podcast. The episode with Sandler has some great insight into the psyche of a comic.

I like listening to comedians talk to each other. I'll even watch hiking with Kevin (and the Conan episode was good)

Hadn't heard of this Conan led podcast, will listen thanks

His advertising reads are pretty funny, too. He sometimes tries to make up a slogan or tag line for the company on the fly, and usually it is terrible.

The Stephen Colbert one was exceptional!

Conan is by far and away my favorite person in the talk show host genre. He's legitimately brilliant.

It was fascinating. Colbert honestly seems like a megagenius when he's not doing his "Colbert" bit.

I am always so impressed how Colbert can pull book and movie quotes out of thin air. I could have listened to another hour of them talking for sure.

when he was doing the typical night show, you could tell which guests he connected with and which ones he didn't. The ones he connected with are the ones in his podcasts.

Except for Aubrey Plaza... they definitely have a rapport.

I think his interview skills are far and away the best of the bunch.

I also enjoy that he's willing to take risks and change up his show. The remotes are awesome. Haven't had a chance to catch the new version of his show, but I think longer interviews with one person bodes well for him. He can get a lot out of that.

I would really like to hear Colbert and Conan have another hour. That was a good one.

I also did like the interview with Dax Sheppard. That would be another hour or two that would be really fun.

Surely he's going to have her on. I read Earwolf has 36 podcast episodes lined up. Surely Aubrey will be on one of those. That would be entertaining for sure.

It's rare to have the same guy graduate Magna Cum Laude from Harvard, go on to write "Marge vs. The Monorail", and then create the Walker Texas Ranger Lever.

All of his guests so far have been great. All the people he has good rapport with.

Can't wait for Jeff Goldblum and Louis CK.

Have you listened to Conan's last interview by Howard Stern?

He told a couple of great National Lampoon stories about Bill Cosby and stealing Burt Wards Robin costume.

Just listened to the Colbert episode based on this thread.

Man, that was great and pretty impactful in some places. Colbert's description of his dream/nightmare was so viseral and was an odd combination of ambiguous but relatable to me as well.

One of my favorite entertainment things is when the late show hosts cross pollinate. And to echo what everyone else mentioned, Colbert on this podcast was incredible. It's always so interesting/haunting to hear how comedic minds often have a melancholic dark side.

Also, I'm part way through the Olyphant episode and pointing out Walton Goggins as the most Hobbit name for a human is incredible.

I discovered this podcast recently as well. I didn't know it was a thing until I listed to a podcast Bill Simmons did with him last year. I recommend everyone listen to it if you haven't, Conan's sports stories were great. The best one by far was what happened when he saw Ted Willilams when he went down to spring training while he was in college. I won't spoil it, but I almost had to pull over I was laughing so hard.

I feel like people from my generation look at Conan as our Letterman. He was different from everyone else, his late show on NBC back in the 90s was my favorite thing ever, he's never been as good since then.

I haven't listened to them all yet, but I have listened to several.

Will Ferrell one was great, loved hearing about Scrub-a-dub, a bit he and adam McKay came up with that SNL rejected so Conan just let them do it without asking permission.

The Adam Sandler one was great. Hearing about both of them being at school functions being my favorite. School asking for volunteers only to have Sandler yelling from the back of the room "Conan will do it!"

Olyphant: "You know I adore you. ADORE you."

Conan: "Then why didn't you open the door?"

Olyphant: "And by adore, I meant I want a door between us."

Since people like the Dana Carvey episode I'm providing a link below to when he was on the short lived Norm Macdonald Live "show" (pre Netflix, youtube only, now all pulled from the internetz).

Link might be filled with viruses, I don't know. I viewed it.

Wow i listened to four of the episodes last week alone. Greatness.

Conan was the true heir to (pre-political) care free completely nonserious, irreverent of Hollywood, always sarcastic David Letterman (when he was still with NBC).

He needs to hurry up with more so i never reach the end.

"I'm Jeff Goldblum and I feel (blank) about being Conan's friend. Well......" then he goes off onto a two-minute rambling about his friendship with Conan.

Then, Conan finishes with "Jeff, every other person has said a one word response to that."
