So, now that the original Avengers is basically done, how do you think Marvel should handle their world now?

  • Create a new Avenger team lead by Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel?
  • Reboot Iron-Man and Captain America?
  • What new characters should they add? Some of the Netflix TV characters like Daredevil, Luke Cage, etc. would be cool, but it seems like most of the characters they haven't used yet aren't that great.
  • Should they merge in X-Men, or keep them a separate universe?
  • Will they finally get the Fantastic Four right?

Personally, I'd like to see them get away from the big cross over story lines for a bit and let the characters grow in their own individual story lines. Also, I'd like to see Marvel spend more time developing their villains. One thing I think that would be really cool, would be to devote movies to building up some of their major villains (Doc Oc, Doctor Doom, Kingpin, etc.) and then do an Avengers style team of villains (Sinister Six?) For everything good Marvel has done, they villains have been relatively weak (with some exceptions). I think now would be a good time to focus on them more and give us some guys we love to hate.

Honestly, I don't even care. Saw End Game today with one of my sons and just stick a fork in me, I'm done.

If someone had told me I could get this invested in a series of super hero movies before I took my then five year old boy to the Avengers in 2012, I'd have laughed in their face.

***huge Endgame spoilers***

I think they have a lot left in their back pocket, before you even get to X-Men, reboots or Netflix characters.

I picture things like:
- a cosmic crossover, with the Guardians (what's left of them), Captain Marvel, the Fantastic Four, and maybe Thor or Nova
- Spider-Man vs the Sinister Six
- Black Panther vs Namor
- Doctor Doom, a villain so iconic he's thought by some to have inspired the design of Darth Vader
- Avengers vs X-Men in some capacity
- a comics-faithful / iconic lineup of Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Ant-Man, Wasp, Hawkeye, and maybe BP, War Machine, Thor, Hulk, etc. Even if that's Sam Wilson instead of Steve Rogers, or Kate Bishop instead of Clint Barton, that's about as proper a lineup as you can find

I get that it's as good a time as any to hop off, but it's almost like quitting GoT after S1 or the Red Wedding. There's a lot of depth to the roster, and a lot of quality that has yet to appear by that point.

The wait between Spider-Man FFH and Black Widow in May will be a much needed recharge. Somewhere in there we'll learn the full Phase 4 lineup. I'm sure there will be a few surprises and ideas to spark some interest again.

Just my two cents. But someday Magneto will rip all the vibranium out of Wakanda's mountain, and you'll be glad you stuck around to see some more crazy ****.

Galactus as the ultimate foe would be interesting.

I'm not interested in many of what they have left. I still haven't see either antman (though I liked him so much in endgame now I want to see them). I have little to no interest in war machine, warhawk (or whatever his name is), hawkeye, scarlet witch, professor hulk (love hulk, though), Valkyrie, captain marvel, wasp, winter soldier, or fantastic four.

Mild interest in Black Panther and antman.

Interested in: GOTG, spiderman, ragarok Thor, Xmen.

I didn't see captain marvel movie, but she seemed really unlikeable in Endgame (even wife thought so). If they're counting on her to be the leader of the new group... Yikes.

A-Force (an all female Avengers team) like the small glimpse we all saw in Endgame is a possibility that I think is on the development table.

From here marvel goes back to the marvel thread....

No reason to open another one when you could have stated this question in that thread...

Opened, commented on, and bumped a thread in order to say that the thread shouldn't be here.

I went with a new thread because spoilers aren't allowed on the MCU thread. It's tough to talk about the future when you can't mention anything from End Game. Also, why does it matter? It's just an extra thread.
