I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not as good as First Class or Days of Future Past, but significantly better than Apocalypse. I'd rank it on par with mid tier Marvel movies.

I didn't much like it either. It wasn't terrible and had good action scenes but the whole thing seemed choppy like it needed about 20 more minutes somehow in it to make it flow better. I don't think it helped that they already did this whole story with last stand so you mostly know the outcome whether you've read the comics or not. I was pretty let down by the movie and I LOVED Apocalypse so I'm wondering if it's a little worse than the others (for sure) but then a repeat story has turned me off. And the beginning didn't have that cool X-Men theme that gets me pumped up. It was just like fade to black and then DARK PHOENIX. So I guess it wasn't just me and a lot of folks don't dig it. Sad it couldn't end them on a better note.

I honestly didn't think it was that bad and enjoyed. It was pretty much on par with the last films with the acting but way more action.

Logan takes place in the near future (2029) while Dark Phoenix takes place in 1992.

Watched that interview with my wife sitting next to me.

I think at one point I just blurted out "just look at those!!! It's like she wants me to stare at them!!" My wife agreed that it must have been cold in that studio.

And she sure shows it off for being probably the only female in got history that didnt show off the goods in the show.

Of course no. Was she even an adult then?
It was a (stupid) joke playing on those feeling entitled to see her nude because she was
1. On a show with a lot of nudity, and
2. She had the gaul to wear revealing clothing on a talk show.

Bit of an STP "sex type thing" vibe.

Apocalypse was just an all around bad movie.

The entire plot of the movie is that Apocalypse was this undstoppable big bad. Then in the fight scene they build the entire movie around, they nerf him to show that Grey Jean is a badass and promote the next film.

I'm ok with a movie having a dumb plot if the action scenes are good. Apocalypse had neither.

I Dark Phoenix. I liked it more than First Class and Apocalypse, less than Days of Future Past. I think it pulled enough elements from the comic story while not being constrained by it. Having not grown up with the Dark Phoenix Saga but only reading it now much later it is not very good. I know its revered in comic book people's eyes but it took me several tries to actually sit down and read the whole thing and pretty boring and all over the place for the most part.

Man, I don't know what it is about her, but I think she's in my top 3. She's vying for the top spot, and Kate Beckinsale ain't getting any younger. I know a lot of guys don't think she's that hot, but I guess she's just my type.
