How long do you want to ignore this user?
Guy, possibly drunk, posts on TexAgs at 10 PM on Saturday night. Is he bored? Did a date stand him up? Is it insomnia? Minutes tick by, nearly an hour and still no responses. He's bathed in a sheen of sweat, irritated with himself for binging Stranger Things and not having anything to do now. He considers going back to work on his fan edit of the Prequel Trilogy, in which he has Anakin and Obi-Wan settling their differences with a lightsaber fight while both are flying pods on Boonta Eve.

He considers checking his Twitter feed but fears spoilers from The Rise of Skywalker might lurk in there. What if someone confirms that Billy Dee Williams is playing Lando before the official trailer is released in October? What about that wild rumor that Bill Cosby has replaced Domhall Gleason as General Hux? He can't risk it. He'll just head over to TexAgs and post about movie ideas.

The minutes tick by. Why hasn't TCTTS posted anything obnoxious in a couple of hours? He nods off then suddenly awakens to the dancing letters appearing across his screen. He blinks and rubs the sleep out of his eyes. This can't be real ... it's his ID posting, but that's impossible, his laptop is open on the coffee table. He checks the IP address. Splashes cold water on his face. Checks it again. And realizes with sudden undulating horror that THE POST IS COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE.

Fade to black.

Guy, possibly obsessed, is constantly calling out TCTTS, continually placing little jabs here and there in post after post. For little to no reason. Even though they've spoken multiple times about said habit, but clearly guy has an axe to grind.

Got one:

Virus outbreak in another country (like Ebola). Shows ravaged country. Overwhelmed physician in this small country decides he needs to do something drastic to save his people. Movie shows him working on something.

Virus comes to the USA, Germany, France, England, Japan. Multiple breakouts. Main protagonist is related to finding a cure. Initially just thought as pandemic, but later it was noticed that a pattern developed from this. cities hit initially all have top tier research/biotech facilities. Terrorism is suspected. Bioterror is suspected by the Chinese specifically since they managed to not have a single city hit by this while other countries are taking a hit. Political tensions rise. Sabers are rattled. Cure is found, but by then the virus has made its way to China and it starts killing millions of people. There is pressure initially to not share the cure since it was initially thought the be an attack but by them, but by then the protagonists in the movie has figured out what happened preventing WWIII. By this time a cure has been delivered to the original country saving it's people.

Turns out the physician from the beginning had plan all along was to intentionally spread the infection worldwide and faster from the original outbreak country since he knew that he could get a cure for his people faster by infecting places that were technologically advanced. The guys he had infected going to China didn't make it to their destinations and couldn't start the outbreak there.

Sort of like outbreak meets the sum of all fears when I'm reading it back but anyway if were sharing, here's mine.

Apologies to both of you if you were offended. I'm working all night and thought what I wrote was funny.

By passive aggressively ridiculing other posters, yeah I got it. You do seem to be jabbing at me and TC a lot in particular, as of late.

Take several Kurosawa films and mix them together - set the action in a neighboring galaxy in our time. And have the troops of the ruler who is putting down a rebellion armed with weapons with some form of targeting system. Doesn't have to be too advanced, but enough to hit a barn door. Slowly, but surely, the rulers crush the rebels.

Game of thrones trilogy:

Bran wakes up realizing all of season 8 was a really really bad dream. Trilogy picks up where the season 7 ends. I don't want to get into too many details but the plot blows everyone away and has an amazing ending. Wow

What if I told you that a lot of them aren't live action but simply a different type of animation? /Morphius

A modern installment of the Cannonball Run movies. Light on the violence that permeates the F&F franchise and keep it light-hearted. Maybe include the original 3 from Top Gear. A hot chicks car with Gal Gadot and Alexandra Daddario. Humorous Ryan Gosling drives another car. Troy and Abed back together in a car but distracted by too many side quests. Maybe even Clint Eastwood looking old, bewildered, and menacing as he drives a classic car slowly with the blinker on.

Never seen Steel Magnolias; would an all-male version be like a 2 hour dominoes game with one of the old men telling an old joke about every 15 minutes?

I have always thought that Turney W. Leonard's story would make a good movie, following him from his time at A&M through to the battle at Kommerscheidt for which he was awarded the Medal of Honor. I started to write it at one point.

The story could utilize his Aggie Ring as an interesting way to break up the timeline and connect his story to the present day and what hit means to be an Aggie. For those that don't know his ring was returned by a German officer to the Leonard family and to A&M in 2000 while I was a student. The story always stuck with me.

Prequel to the redone Jumanji that came out a few years ago.

It focuses on the journey into the game that left the pilot stranded. In the original, he enters the game by himself. Some of this friends, trying to find clues to his disappearance, accidentally join him. They're his fellow
1990's teenagers, probably a motley lot like in the original, with the same actors in the game. Like, think Bravestone being the avatar for some grunge kid, still played by The Rock. Maybe the weaknesses mix up each time Jumanji is played, so they're different this time. I dunno.

Anyway, the process of how things work in the game is shortened, with the result that Seaplane thinks all of his fellow gamers have lost all three lives, but they were actually able to make it to the end and get out of the game. They try to figure out how to explain that they know Alex's fate, but realize no one would believe them, and they might even become suspects, so they hide the game at the school. The town is mourning the loss, with scenes alternating between that and:

We spend some time seeing Seaplane fail to advance in the game, and then begin to make a life for himself inside the game - finding the traps, knowing whom to trust, etc.

Then, a few "months" later (to him), the other avatars come back. He's a little confused, finally realizing that they're different people with the same avatars. We get a quickie version of the end game, and Seaplane gets returned home as Alex, much to the delight of his friends.
