Howdy, Ags! Summer is now in full swing, which means its time for some of our favorite events here in BCSTX. With horse shows, concerts, Shakespeare, and even an entire evening dedicated to craft beer, there's something for everyone coming up in the last half of July!

Century Square Cinema July 17
Bring the whole family out to Century Square for a free showing of Incredibles 2 under the twinkling lights on The Green! Come early to grab your seat, the movie will begin at 8:45pm (dusk). Blankets are welcome. Grab a burger and a beer at Hopdoddy, a slice at Blaze, or or a sweet treat from Hey Sugar, and enjoy a night of family fun!

The Stella Hotel's Backyard Star Party July 18
Discover the wonders of our solar system and galaxy through telescopes at The Stella Hotel. At the event, three telescopes will be setup in the Backyard - each showcasing a different view of our night sky. Sweet treats, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase. The Tempest | Shakes on the Lake July 19 & 20
Lake Walk Town Center is excited to announce the inaugural season of Shakes on the Lake with summer performances of The Tempest, directed by Andrew Roblyer. All performances will begin at 8PM at the Lake Walk Pavilion. This event is FREE and open to the public to attend.

Cheers to Craft Beer in Downtown Bryan July 20
Downtown Bryan will hold its 5th annual Cheers to Craft Beer event on Saturday, July 20, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. The event will feature craft beer tastings inside of our Downtown retail stores and restaurants. Cheers to Craft Beer is a self-paced walking event. Upon check-in at the Palace Theater (Main & 26th), ticket holders will receive a map of all of the participating locations and can choose which order to sample and visit merchants.
One Cheers to Craft Beer ticket includes a keepsake tasting glass and a map of all of the participating merchants in Downtown Bryan.

4-H Horse Show July 21-27
The 57th Annual Texas State 4-H Horse Show will be taking place at the Brazos County Expo. The Texas State 4-H Horse Show is the pinnacle of the 4-H horse project and offers many opportunities to 4-H youth, including up to 40 classes of competition, educational programs, scholarships and college preparation opportunities. The events are free & open to the public, so come out and watch the more than 350 participants as they compete at this year's show.

Games of Texas July 25-29
The Cities of College Station and Bryan in collaboration with Texas A&M University are set to host the 2019 Texas Amateur Athletic Federation GAMES OF TEXAS! Admission to most of these Olympics-style events is free, and you don't want to miss 10,000 of Texas's best athletes competing right here in Bryan College Station! The events include:
