A buddy sent a group message to 3 of us, but me and another guy claimed it simultaneously. I don't know where the seats are, but knowing him, im pretty sure they're on the floor.

My background:. Never seen them live before but would to because they're rock legends. I'm just a casual fan and only know the songs on classic rock radio. After looking at the setlists of the previous shows, I know about anywhere from 9-11 songs out of 19 (depending on the show)

Other guy background:. I know nothing of his fandom

If you were the ticket offerer how would you settle this?

And how do I convince the other guy I want em?

I'd start by not offering a ticket to the Stones to 3 people at once.

But now that he's done that...

I'd just ask if one of them were much bigger fans of their music than the other and ask the 2 people to answer honestly. If it's about equal, I'd then ask who's going to bring the best hookers and the most blow? And go off that answer.

I just looked at the set list and if you only know 9 of them (and the other guy knows less), I'm not sure either deserve to go. It's pretty much straight greatest hits. Anyone with a passing familiarity with the Stones should know at least 15.

I actually got a free ticket to a show on that tour and went but wasn't too excited about it, it was just something to do that night. Ended up being an amazing concert. Glad I went.
