I've been streaming HBOGO using my DirecTV Now login for a while now. I went to login today and DirecTV Now was no longer an option? We get free HBO through my wife having an AT&T phone plan. Am I missing something?

Directtv now is being shuttered and ATTTV now is replacing it I believe. That obviously doesn't answer your specific question, but as ATT phases out uverse and directtvnow lots of the channel deals are expiring and not getting renewed. So it wouldn't surprise me if the deal ended.
I have DirecTV and I just tested my HBOGO app on AppleTV and everything plays/works fine. HBO is eventually launching HBO Max - that'll be the new app - but that's not for a while. Everything seems fine on my end. I feel like this would be way bigger news if DirecTV and HBOGO parted ways.
Ah, I was looking for DirecTV Now in the drop down menu. It has been replaced by AT&T TV. I'd never heard of that until I saw your post. Thanks for the help.

OP is talking about the streaming service called directvnow. You seem to be talking about the "hang a dish on your house set top box service" called direct tv.
You're right. I completely missed the word "Now."
