Did I miss the thread on this? Saw this teaser on SNF last night, looks good!

That looks awesome. I like the WWI backdrop of the storyline. Not enough films from that era, should be a fun take on it. Perfect song for the teaser.

Definitely in.

Love these movies. This one is the prequel, so assuming we are expecting Kingsman 3 film to be in 2021?

I thought the 2nd one was awful.

But this looks awesome.

the first one was one of the most pleasant and unexpected surprises i've had in a theater in a while.

the second one was a bit of a disappointment, but i didn't think it was awful.

this one looks really, really cool.

Apparently this has been around a while, but I just saw it today.

Apparently in addition to The King's Man, which is a prequel, Matthew Vaughn has plans for the following:

- a third and final Kingsman movie about Eggsy and Harry,

- a Statesman movie, and

- a tv series.

i loved the first kingsman and probably liked the golden circle more than most did, so i'm all in on this expanded universe

I thought a Scottish guy singing John Denver was one of the funniest things I'd seen in a while.

The rest of the movie was a little cornball, especially compared to the first one.

2017 was a good year for Take Me Home, Country Roads

so has anybody else seen Kingsman yet? i did a search and didn't see any recent chatter about it.

i was pretty disappointed, considering the first two films. there are, of course, some really cool action scenes, but the parts between the action set pieces are just kinda dull.

the portrayal of rasputin was bizarre, even by kingsman franchise standards.

definitely one to skip at the theater and catch on tv.

Yep, that song was the lure to the crew of the Covenant to get them to that planet in Alien Covenant.

Don't see this thinking it will be similar to the first two, it's very different in style...nowhere near as fun. Rasputin had some very weird, uncomfortable scenes that pretty much ruined whatever redeeming qualities this film has.
plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose
