A beautiful early November day. The #1 team in the entire nation walked into Kyle. And RC's men said, "no way, head back over the river!" And they did head back over the river, losers and no longer #1. The nation was abuzz and the Men of Kyle were noble on that end.

Just wasted almost 13 minutes of my day. I watched the second half of that game on my knees 5' from the screen. My (Aggie) wife must have paced around the island in our kitchen 500 times.

Greatest Aggie sports moment (for me anyway) in my life.

And from a college football perspective, that field was covered with titans of the game. Mosley, Manziel, Evans, Clinton-Dix, Swope....amazing.

And yes, I was there. Had a pretty good view of the Porter TD from my seats in The Zone....not as good as the BQ above, but still not bad.

I was not there, but the feelings were quite similar coming into this weekend.

I sent this poem a few days before the game to RC to let them know we were with them.
I have no idea if it was read.
Later I did hear a copy of it used to hang in the pressbox of Kyle field before the recent renovation.
What a great game it was to watch though.

OU was biting on the play action all day. I remember the TD pass to Bethel Johnson. He dropped it so quickly it looked like it was incomplete. Still makes me nervous. Kevin Sumlin was the play caller that day, btw.
