It was definitely the beginning of the end, but the last couple seasons aren't as bad as I remember them, and the last 2-3 episodes were very good, and the finale was great

I've said before that it would have been a great series finale. Pam achieves her perfect moment of bliss by marrying the man who loves her unquestionably, then finds out after the honeymoon that Dwight has hooked up with her sister and Michael has hooked up with her mom.

Seasons 6 and 7 are a marked fall off from the first five seasons.

There were enough good episodes in there though that they could've just done a great sixth season. First half arc, Jim and Pam's wedding, second half arc would be Michael's hookup with Holly and goodbye. I definitely think between the two years they had enough for one more classic season.

As for 8 and 9...i just try and pretend those never even happened...

No no no...

It's more fun to almost ruin their marriage by having her doubt Jim and almost hook up with a camera man.

I consider myself amongst the biggest Office fans there are, but I have no idea what the foil represents.

I finally sat down with the wife and watched The Office earlier this year. I was ready for the last couple of seasons to be bad but I enjoyed them. You could see the difference with out Steve Carrel but I liked them. The finale was great and my wife cried a little and I felt it was good closure. Got my kids hooked on it too. I wish they'd have made the spinoff called The Farm.
