Am I the only one who thinks this show is a little hokey? Some of the dialogue seems contrived and unnatural. The action scenes are great but something is just a little off for me

Second season is a vast improvement over the first IMO. At times clunky dialogue aside.
First episode is ****ing great.

It's weird seeing Jaqen H'gar with short hair.
Is there any sex and nudity in this one? There was quite a bit of sex and boobs in one episode of last season. Totally unnecessary to the story also. Anyway I didn't let my son watch due to that. Any of that in season 2?
Midway through ep 2. Great start.
This show is just a mainstream Homeland. It'll never be as good as S1 or S2 of Homeland but it'll never be as bad as the bad seasons either.

The hokey part I have trouble with is that Jack Ryan is played by the same guy who was the worry wart fiancee in "It's Complicated"!
The last op in Caracas and the last scene in D.C. were utterly ridiculous. Aside from that, I enjoyed this season.
Just finished season two. None that I recall.

That's the problem? I think there was one scene of it and waaaaayyyy more cussing.
My in laws have liked all the Jack Ryan movies so we started it when they were here and there was more profanity in one episode than all the movies combined.
Profanity doesn't bother me. Graphic sex in front if him does. Why is that any of your business?

This was a pretty decent season. Michael Kelly stole the show. However it did suck that the best character, Matice, got killed off.

Yeah, there were several (unnecessary, IMO) scenes in season one, but I can't think of any in season two. Language and violence, sure but I don't recall any nudity this go round. And I see I'm several months late on the reply. My bad. Sorry.
Recently finished both seasons. My wife and I both liked season 1. She bailed after the 2nd episode of season 2 b/c she was mad that the relationship (Ryan and the Doctor) formed in season 1 simply disappeared with zero explanation.
I watched the rest of the season and enjoyed it for what it was, but sure, some ridiculous events unfolded.
