Posted this on the GB, but figured I'd get more traction here.

I am getting a vinyl record player for my office, and need to start stocking it with vinyls. I think vinyls are cool and and are great conversation starters.

So what's your top 5 vinyls you would start your collection with?

THIS is wait you need. Sturgill Simpson, 'Sound and Fury' red vinyl
Whether you like his style (whatever style that is for that year, haha), it's must have vinyl for the design and the fact that this album is awesomely different, stylish and 'out-there' rock album. LOVE this album.

I'd start it with whatever albums you enjoy. And don't worry about what snobs think. If you like Billie Eilish or whatever albums are currently at Urban Outfitters... then do it. Who cares.

And when I started I just pretty much picked up all the Beatles and Zeppelin I could find and went from there. I have a lot of the "classics". But I'd def recommend Sturgill as well.
