I've seen them three times, twice they were great, once they were awful. From the concerts I've been too and the videos I've seen, Kiedis is really who drives the live performances. When he's bad, the band is bad, when he's on, the band is great. Also, I haven't been impressed with Kinghoffer. I think he's a fine studio guitarist, but the band has much more energy with Frusciante. Also, they're old now, and rock bands typically don't age well.
