Meh, haven't cared for anything they've done since Freaky Styley.

Hell yes. One of my favorite bands, but the only time I saw them live was with the other guy. (Who is great, don't get me wrong.)

This is all the reason I need to see them again. (Besides the fact that they didn't play Under The Bridge.)

RHCP was the headline act for the Singapore Formula 1 race this year.

I was really looking forward to seeing them but, they sucked. They sucked so bad that I didn't even finish the show. After an hour or so, hoping it would get better, I finally headed for the exit.

The one bright spot was the drummer - Chad Smith was excellent. Also, I never realised until that show that while wearing a backwards LA Dodgers cap, he's a dead-ringer for Will Ferrell.

RHCP is the second worst band I've seen live. The worst was Motley Crue at Red Rocks (Denver) - around summer 2000.



I guess people already knew about the resemblance between Ferrell and Smith and I'm just late to the game.

RHCP is perhaps the primary example of a band with a terrible lead singer (talking about singing here) who would be a lot less without him.

Also....well, look into what happened with AK and Cher.

I'm hoping for another album like Stadium Arcadium

I've seen them three times, twice they were great, once they were awful. From the concerts I've been too and the videos I've seen, Kiedis is really who drives the live performances. When he's bad, the band is bad, when he's on, the band is great. Also, I haven't been impressed with Kinghoffer. I think he's a fine studio guitarist, but the band has much more energy with Frusciante. Also, they're old now, and rock bands typically don't age well.

I saw them with Hilel Slovak. That's the real RHCP guitarist.
