Medical Police. 8 episodes available, 30 minutes each. Leslie Nielsen / Airplane style humor. I really enjoyed it. Medical Police.... even the straightforward title is funny.

I just noticed that show today, and immediately realized the two actors in it were on Childrens Hospital on Adult Swim. Turns out that this is a spinoff series.

I loved Childrens Hospital, so I'll be giving this a try.

Ahhhhhh yes, that's where I saw them- loved 'Children's Hospital'

Have this show on watchlist. Perfect thread for me to shout my love for similar style humor show that has 2 seasons out, 'Trial and Error' - LOVE IT! We haven't laughed out loud si 6 consistently in a long time.

Is it on the same level as Airplane or Naked Gun in terms of family friendliness?

Not sure about the family friendliness of Airplane or Naked Gun to you, but my wife watched a few minutes of the first episode of Medical Police to see if it was family friendly for our kids. She decided no. Wasn't ready to explain what a pocket ***** is to our 11 year old daughter.

IIRC airplane only had the flash of breasts on the x-ray machine. other than that, it seems less wild than most pg-13 action movies out there.

That's not what I said, actually. I asked if it was on the same level.

If so, then it's fine for my family. I have teenagers, not grade schoolers. They can handle a "Nice Beaver" joke.
