This story/ad is going to win the Super Bowl. This guy bought a 6 million dollar ad to thank UW-MADISON for saving his dog, and to raise money for them.

I have friend that grew up in Bawston, is Irish and grew up poor. I asked why he doesn't have the slightest bit of that annoying accent. He realized at some point in his young life he did not want to sound like that when speaking to strangers outside of his region.

His words I'll never forget: "basically I told my self 'don't sound like mom and dad', I trained myself to not talk like them."

He still lives in an upper end Bawston neighborhood and is quite successful.

I saw the commercial and wondered who had enough money to blow on a procedure to remove a tumor from a dogs heart. I guess it is the same person stupid enough to blow six million on a commercial instead of just donating it directly.
