She wasn't paying attention. There were clearly Sikhs in the trenches with the British in 1917. Granted, having one here or there is pandering (considering they would have been in Sikh units) but hell at least they tried to add a little spice to a movie about BRITSH and GERMAN people killing each other in 1917.

Pathetic... She appears to be 12. Spoken with true ignorance and reluctance to even entertain historical accuracy.
All because she believes artistic creativity should outweigh historical "accounts".

She would have no problem with an Asian woman playing Eisenhower in a biopic. But if they had a Hispanic man play Rosa Parks, she would lose her mind.

Also, do they purposely select dolts for Op-Ed pieces?

And to think that was one of my complaints in the film was that there were too many black soldiers in the Devons for historical accuracy. I saw more blacks in the short film time allotted to the Devons in 1917 than I actually saw last summer while spending a week in Devon.

Nearly 20 years ago, Blackhawk Down received criticism for portraying an nearly all white mixed unit of Delta and Rangers fighting a completely black enemy in the streets of Mogadishu. Turns out that Task Force Ranger was in fact nearly completely all white and yep, 99.8% of Somalia is black. Mind blown.
