His early adventure books were a great diversion back in the day.

Inca Gold was my fav.

I was a huge fan of just about every book her personally wrote. Lost interest once the series were essentially written by others with his "help"
Inca Gold was a great book, it and Sahara are probably my two favorites of his.

I loved the Pitt series until maybe 15 years ago where I started getting stale. Some of his other series are good also.

He was a good one. I enjoyed several Dirk Pitt books and even started a "Kurt Austin" adventure.

I starting reading his books in the '70's. Started with "Raise the Titanic" and read many others.

Sad to see him pass. Legend.

This. Every book was basically his kids getting captured and him having to go rescue them, I lost interest, but the first 15 or so books are all great. Maybe now they can make some more movies, if done right.

Defintely a guilty pleasure read for me. I read a couple of them every time I go on vacation. My favorites by far are the NUMA series

He always wrote himself into a small part of his books.

And, included great cars.

And, he lived in a hanger at the airport. Being a pilot, I always thought that was so cool.

Yeah, remember the first book I read was Inca Gold. I was stuck at grandparents in the early 90s for two weeks with no TV, and picked it up and just started reading it.

Loved them, read nearly everything he wrote.
