I've never been a huge Chicago fan, but they are a great band to see live, and their music is really good. I consider them more pop/jazz than anything. The early stuff was the best.

My absolute favorite thing to watch on youtube are amazingly tight "in the studio" performances. These are great. I've always loved the Earth, Wind, and Fire cover of Got to get you into my life."

Growing up in the 80s I always associated Chicago with all of the Peter Cetera schlock. A couple of years ago CNN produced a multiple episode doc on the band and it opened my eyes.

Their old stuff 60's & 70s is pretty fantastic.

Also, Peter Cetera is still a giant dick

Those covers are really good.

Walfredo Reyes is drumming for Chicago now. He has tons of excellent drum cam clips on Youtube. The band still sounds great.

That's amazingly tight. Really fun to watch.

I agree with the above about associating Chicago with the Cetera years.

I saw them a long time ago at Starplex with Little River Band. Good show.

Because I think it's awesome to see a bunch of Russians absolutely nailing Chicago songs in the studio and having a blast doing it. You can tell they love playing these songs. Plus that back up singer woman in some of these is amazingly hot so that doesn't hurt.

It's like video where the dude played the whole album of Rush's Permanent Waves. I loved watching that stuff too.


I wish they had one doing Searching So Long. That's my favorite Chicago tune.

Yall ever see on YouTube that TV special they filmed in Colorado in mid-70s? Sort of cheesy, but some great live performances. I think on the Netflix doc they said they were coked to the gills for that special, but it's pretty entertaining.

Watching some of these videos makes me think of getting a couple of lawn seats.

Last time I saw them fifth row at Reunion Arena in Dallas in late 80s
