I'll be pissed if they cancel Luck Reunion.
Wonder if this is purely because corporations were backing out and it'll be a festival anomaly. Or does this start a festival cancellation domino effect?

I wonder if this puts any pressure on Houston. We have two more weeks of the rodeo and I think the economic contributions are also somewhere around $400 million.
Houston rodeo will be safe until artists start backing out
SXSW had no choice. They already had community pressure, and then every big company/exhibitor pulled out.

Those of you taking joy in this suck.
This is borderline catastrophic for a lot of small businesses, not to mention crushing for films and artists who were going to have a chance to debut in front of a ton of industry people.

Will be interesting to see what happens. The industry and film stuff is obviously off. Not sure about all the music. A lot of that is local bars hosting parties with multiple bands and non official SXSW. Can't really shut that down and people I know still thinking about coming in town. Will be interesting.
