Hey, I'm making a list of movies to acquire for my father-in-law who is on bed-rest and am trying to think of country western movies I can assemble for him. What other movies fall into the category of the following? I'm not sure what category you'd call it... country-comedy?

Very low brow, cartoonish type humor, very much reminds me of Roadrunner/Coyote cartoons and that kind of humor is right down my alley. Ann-Margret is quite lovely in this one as an added bonus.

Blazing Saddles needs to be mentioned again.

I dont disagree but OP lists Forrest Gump and Tombstone in his list, so it was sort of off the rails from the jump.

The Unforgiven is possibly the greatest Western ever.

Lonesome Dove is the best mini-series ever.

Neither are considered comedies, which I missed in the OP.
