After a couple of weeks of quarantine and running through a decent amount of Disney+, my kids have settled on Pollyanna as their favorite.

Everything before Pocahontas is old school disney! Jk.

That is kinda the line that separates good disney from ponderous disney.


I do find it nice to know the older technology and cinematography is still fascinating compared to production value now. Perhaps kids are less discerning and just prefer the immersion into imagination.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow animation, narrated by Bing Crosby. Used to play every year on broadcast tv before Halloween when I was a kid. Have it on DVD now, titled "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad," as it is paired with Mr. Toad from "Wind in the Willows".

I watch it around every Halloween. The wife begrudginly participates.

Not as old school as what most of y'all are mentioning, but my 2 year old loves TailSpin. Huge win for me, because I grew up on it and can stand watching it, as opposed to Mickey Mouse clubhouse.
