How long do you want to ignore this user?
Anyone watch the premiere for this one Sunday night after Westworld?

IMO that 1st episode was all over the place. Interesting concept of a show that will be fun to see where they take it. I'll check it out for a few more episodes at least.

I thought the female lead in this was great. The male lead I just dont get how they casted that guy though. Just doesn't seem to fit in with her or the "surroundings" of the show.

A few eye-rolling scenes but it's an HBO series so I'll give it a shot.

I liked it and thought the actress did a great job. She made the show's premise believable.

Liked the premise, liked some of their interactions and the small twist at the end, but overall the execution felt a bit off. Will give it a few more episodes though at least, I like unique ideas and the creators have a good track record.

And what time would she have had to be sitting in that parking lot in Cali to make it to the airport, on the plane, to jfk to grand central and to her train to make anything close to 5p? Her yoga mat store must open hella early.

Season finished this week, pretty underwhelmingly. They just seemed to have little they could do with the premise after the initial interesting idea.

HBO has already said no to season 2.

My wife watched the series. She was disappointed in the ending, and was worried there wouldn't be a second season.

I gave this show a chance, unique concept, but the execution just wasn't there. I think HBO signed on since Phoebe Waller-Bridge was attached, but her name alone didn't save this one.

I like the actors, but I didn't feel like they had any actual chemistry together. I could buy in that each of them was individually in crisis, and each was trying to cling onto someone from their past, and that person was also supposed to be a reflection of who they wanted to be. Also, neither of them had a back story regarding why they needed to run that made you emotionally invest in either of them. To the contrary, they both just wanted to run away from their lives and responsibilities as adults. You have to have a much better show if your protagonists are that way in order to pull it off.
