Dropped tonight. Who else is watching? I think there is this season and the next, and that's it iirc. Four episodes in, and I'm already liking this season more than the previous.

Too far out group Bosch is tracking in LA - not believable . Otherwise worth watching.

I finished it. I enjoyed it.
They make the area commander so weak but probably true in some cities due to politics. I kind of enjoyed the multiple smaller story lines instead of one story dominating. Hard to watch the FBI agent as I tie her to hitch and can't take her seriously.

I absolutely love this series. It's top ten in my all time series maybe even top 5. I've been reading these books for nearly twenty years so I guess I'm biased but it's damn good.
Am I alone in thinking this is an all time great series? Especially post Sopranos/Wire/BB?

Does Season 6 follow one of the novels? The synopsis does not sound familiar at all.
Great question. The lady MC book I read ended up being the premise for season 5. Reading his website his two latest Bosch novels do not seem to be the basis for Bosch season 6.jjmanzano said:

Titus narrated at least one of the books for audible. That was pretty awesome.
Just finished binging this season. Another winner. Could a better Bosch have been cast?
It's my favorite show across all mediums.
I really like Bosch but there are so many different storylines to follow that it can be tough.

This season in particular has a few more story lines than past seasons imo.
1. The murder.
2. The separatists.
3. Chief running for mayor.
4. Maddie's work.
5. J. Edgar's IA work.
6. Death of a former coworker.
7. Lt. Sexual harassment
8. Cold case work
Even then, there are some minor storylines as well. It's just too much.
That being said, I'll watch every single minute of it and look forward to next season.

Finished this season and loved it. The acting is just amazing. This show really doesn't get enough props.
Sounds like one final season. Unlike previous seasons, not sure there is much to continue to the next. Maybe you have J Edgar's conscience and Maddie's future, but that's not much. Lots of places it can go.

I'd like to see another Lincoln Lawyer movie with Welliver and the Bosch tv guys in it.
