Some absolutely hilarious trip stories and reenactments from the likes of Ben Stiller, Sara Silverman, Sting, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Bourdain, A$AP Rocky, David Cross, Nick Kroll, and others. This is not advocating for everyone to go do drugs but there are some tips for enjoying your trip sprinkled throughout. It also touches on some of the research focusing on the use of psychedelics to treat depression, PTSD, anxiety, substance abuse, mental illness, and other issues. I thought it was put together really well and I hear they have a bunch of interviews they didn't use so there could be more to come in the future.

Just started watching it and I can tell it's going to be good. Can't believe Bourdain said he'd done acid 500 times! That seems a bit excessive.

In college, I ran with a partying crowd and did my fair share of tripping. Ate mushrooms at the Grand Canyon and sat on the ledge. Fun, but insane thinking back on it. Anyway, had one buddy that bought a whole sheet of acid and ate the whole thing over the course of about a month. Dude never really recovered from that. He's been way the hell out there ever since and that was 1994 when he ate all that acid.

I always liked shrooms or ecstasy. Acid freaking lasted to long and would get too intense at times. X was just a straight up blast and shrooms after about 8-10 hours would noticeability start wearing off.

Agree on acid, too long & intense and any strychnine laced tabs made you feel achy for a day or two.

Shrooms I had a great time with friends of mine at my buddy's ranch listening to Lateralus in 2001. Ate 5g chocolates on a clear night all the stars inter-connected with green lines, a quarter moon spinning firing off tracers, and later a thunderstorm slowly rolled in the distance you could literally feel the WOOMF WOOMF WOOMF of the thunder.

Only once came across peyote mixed with Nestles Quik, what a ride...

Best experience with shrooms for me was floating the Comal river. The trees were breathing, sparkling, and there was gold powder floating in the air. I had a 6" dragonfly land on my hat and stay there for a solid 15 minutes. The river was packed and everyone was pointing the dragonfly out to their friends, taking pictures, and telling me about it, like I wasn't aware. I took it as a clear sign from the universe that I was where I was supposed to be. And then we rounded a corner and I was in a fantasy magic land floating past Schlitterbahn. At the end of the float I was the one guy that left the river with 16 cold beers from a full case, had one on the float and gave the others to friends or friendly floaters-by. So many laughs and care free vibes that day.

You buy the ticket, you ride the ride.
