Funniest movie I have seen in a long while, some of the lines are priceless. It's outlandish in the vein that Happy Gilmore or Waterboy was when they first came out. Your sides will definitely hurt by the end of the movie.

My wife suggested this last night and we enjoyed it. I wasn't sure I could stand the chick at first but i got used to her (woof she's weird looking).

Solid movie. Not the funniest or near the top for me, but it was worth the time.

Surprised to read these reactions....read the plot synopsis online and it sounds about as routine of a rom-com as you could possibly get.

But I will say a 5.8 on IMDB for an Adam Sandler production is above par....so I may give it a shot.

Of course the plot is absurdly silly as all of Sandler's films are so don't expect a perfect comedy. The girl makes the movie for me, i have never seen that kind of insane physical comedy from a woman and she had me laughing through the whole movie sometimes from facial expressions alone. I thought it was a hilarious movie and even my wife was laughing out loud and she hates slapstick comedies.

Same. My wife and I almost never shut off a movie and we both only lasted about 20 minutes on this one.

I was not a great movie, but I still laughed a fair amount through the first half of it. Pretty much all the laughs came from Lauren Lapkus, everything else was pretty meh..

Overall, I don't think it was a complete waste of my time..

i tired twice and just couldn't do it. it wasn't funny, it was more cringing.

I watched it tonight. It wasn't bad. I laughed at some parts.

My wife and I enjoyed it. I understand why some of you turned it off, the comedic relief basically is a crazy chick and Nick Swarsdson around David Spade's straightforward character. I love the Happy Madison fraternity of actors, so it's fun for me anticipating when each of the guys will make their appearance and wondering what character they'll be this time around.

Sure, but it was the first 4 replies and they all acted like it was the best movie made in decades.

I think those that said they only lasted 20 minutes and it was cringe worthy or right. It was during that time that I prayed my wife would shut it off.

It got better. Not Stepbrothers better but became enjoyable.

34% on rotten tomatoes, and only 53% from the audience. that's pretty bad.

If you enjoyed her over the top character, she does similar ones on the Comedy Bang Bang Podcast over the last 5-6 years

I enjoyed it but wasn't really impressed with David Spade as the lead. It was like they put Richard from Tommy Boy in a time machine and fast forwarded 25 years. Lauren Lapkus was hilarious! Her role felt natural. Usually these movies try to turn a cute or hot chick into someone who's funny but it doesn't always work. Between her physical comedy and not knowing what would come out of her mouth next, it was refreshing. I hope this is the springboard to more work for her.

The girl is funny but most of the jokes werent, had few laughs but thats about it.
