Has anyone seen if Big Brother is still happening this year? I haven't seen anything to contrary, and it seems like they could run pretty easily since they are all quarantined together anyway.

I feel like if it was happening they would have promoted it during Survivor which they didnt. If it doesnt come back this season my wife and I are going to re-watch an old season in real time.

Supposedly it's still going forward, but no one knows when. While sequestering the contestants would be easy to do with testing, LA has a stay at home order in place that throws a kink into things. Then there's the issue of the set builders building the contests all the time. I'd assume you'd have to have everything sprayed down once they are done building. Then you have to deal with getting the food into the set.

I think it will happen, but I don't see how they can make the logistics work right now. If they try to copy The Circle, I won't watch. That show was terrible.

it should be really easy. pick your guests, plus a couple alternates.

test them all and isolate them until you get results.

then go straight isolation until the show starts.

if the UFC is running fights right now they can pull off big brother easily.

then again the political state of CBS will probably make this much harder than it needs to be.

I think they will find a way to make it work, but the UFC having fights is a pretty poor comparison to the requirements of a 100 day 24x7 production.

They ended BBCan early this year -- and it was more of a logistical issue and less of a "houseguest may get sick" issue. All of the staff that makes the show run goes home and comes back, and if an infection got in, it would likely hit the entire production team at the same-ish rate.

Also - none of this would likely be doable remotely, as you might remember the person who hacked the live feeds during a blackout.

I'm hopeful the season happens, but there's a lot of logistical and legal issues to be sorted out.

Id be up for an all stars season as long as we dont get Brendon and Rachel.

If they did one who would you want to see and who do you not want to see?

I won't watch BB ever again because of the threat of having to see Rachel.

They have a nice spot on The Challenge now. Not sure if they can go back to CBS...

IMO it's more about how far down their list of players from the last decade they have to ask before getting to 16 or 18 people who say yes. Sw**** and Bailey would say yes in a heartbeat.
Rachel is either pregnant or just had a baby so I think she is out and Brendan is probably out.

Looks like aiming for August - November. A couple of big name players hinting at announcements "soon". Evel Dick, Dan, etc...
