Will look forward to this. When Jeff Bridges remade True Grit I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. Hopefully this will be done well too.

The original sucked, this one will be worse.
Kids on a cattle drive, can't believe they don't make more movies where kids do adult jobs.

The Cowboys is probably in my top 10 list. Normally I would say don't touch it. But if TLJ is in on it, then I may be on board.

Edit to add that I use "Carry your weight, boy" and "We're burning daylight" quite often

I was perfectly ok with a remake of True Grit. Quite frankly, it was one of John Wayne's weakest films. But The Cowboys is a different matter altogether. Even with Tommy Lee Jones at the helm, I'm very hesitant about this.

One of my favorite movies. Leary about a remake of it. But hoping they do it justice. My dad always used the burning daylight saying when trying to roust us from bed.
God loves you so much He'll meet you where you are. He also loves you too much to allow to stay where you are.
