I learned about Tulsa from the HBO Watchmen series which is kind of insane. Apparently it's omitted from Oklahoma history taught in schools as well.

Have this doc in my queue to watch, hoping some other posters here can put away their biases long enough to actually watch as well.

The prison system is a failed experiment in mass incarceration. We no longer rehabilitate and instead on incapacitate. We use prison as a treatment for drug addiction/abuse and mental illness, and it does nothing to address either. You don't have to have an R or a D beside your name to admit this.
