Hey all recently joined and need some help.

My wife and I are trying to find a/some new shows to watch as we still try to wait out this covid thing. This seemed as good a place as any to get some suggestions.

We have access to Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime.

So I don't waste your time I'll list out some of the things we have watched.

Loved Dark but it isn't for everyone
Succession is another that is a solid choice.
Liked the one episode of Sex Education but haven't gone back after I started rewatching Dark before season 3 came out.

I get engrossed in the show. My wife is more of the background entertainment person which is why she usually doesn't care what we watch

I'm going to throw an off-the-wall one out there. My wife and I like similar shows and last summer we binged, Suits. We really enjoyed the show. There are 100+ episodes so it'll keep you busy.

Psych will be back on Peacock network which will be free in mid July

Dark is one of the best shows I have seen in a long while but you have to pay attention and I watched with English dubbed then on my rewatch I watched in German with English subtitles. German is the way to go.
I liked suits for first four seasons then lost interest.
Haven't seen Barry but heard good things

Last Man on Earth

It's only 4 seasons and was cancelled before the show could come to a conclusion, but still one of my favorites.

Action/Drama: The X-Files, Bones, 24, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Numbers, Person of Interest, CSI, CSI New York, CSI Miami
Superhero Shows: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, Gotham, Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman

Man in the High Castle. Just turn off prior to last episode in the series and think up your own ending.

We're in the middle of The Americans and it is awesome.

Don't watch Dark until you learn German, you lose some nuance reading the subtitles.

Catastrophe (great comedy)
Dark is amazing and I'm sad it's over but you've got to be committed from the jump and put the phones/laptops/iPads away and pay attention. German subtitles is the only way to go on this one. The dub is atrocious.

Both shows had a lot of guest stars that went on to have pretty great careers in film.

DC's Stargirl premiered on CW on 5/19/20. I have been keeping up with every episode so far, and I enjoy it.

I will reiterate The Shield. Good till the last scene of the last episode.
Also the Wire. My vote for best TV drama before Breaking Bad came out

Also, gotta watch News Radio if for no other reason than just to get the best of Phil Hartman in his prime. You also get to see Joe Rogan in his first acting gig, and he's a riot. Oh, and F--- Andy Dick. You can skip the last season.
