I think I was a little too young when the WY came out, but I have caught an episode here and there. I will most likely give this one a try if it's on Hulu.

Is this where people pretend that the original wonder years wasnt crappy? It suffered from the Scorsese syndrome where you throw in so much late 60s/early 70s pop/rock music that it comes off campy and insincere, and it was just a basic sad family drama.
They've remade this show dozens of times over the years (sappy family drama). The most recent version would probably be the NBC crap that exists just to emotionally manipulate - this is us/parenthood.

Speaking of This Is Us...there is an early episode where they show VHS footage of the kids 10th birthday around 1989 and I had a Wonder Years moment. "When did the era I grew up in become a flashback or history? It was the first time I felt old."

All fictional shows on ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox are made for the bottom of the barrel demographic.

This reboot is no different.

There's a great Impractical Jokers episode where Murr has to do a strip tease for Danica McKellar because Winnie Cooper was his lifelong crush. Danica is pretty funny in it.
