Anyone know about this? Been around a while but I was not aware of it. Consider myself pretty up on the various streaming services.
It is actually free to anyone using a local library account - and most library accounts are free. They apparently share content across libraries and allow you to see anything they have.
Not saying they have a huge amount of content but I found some interesting stuff on there. I was specifically looking for Mr. Mercedes cuz I saw season 1 when I had Audience network (on AT&T Uverse) but I am no longer on ATT.
Hoopla popped up on a search for where it was streaming. Sure enough took me a day to get my online library account set up through my local library and prove my residence. And now I've got Hoopla on my Roku.
They have mostly older TV series lots of Brit, spy, mystery like Agatha Christie stuff. the movies have more recent things. Lots of good kids and cartoon stuff also. And public PBS type stuff tons of documentaries like Ken Burns, etc.
Another option anyway if looking for truly free content.
