I didn't see a thread on this despite searching.

First episode was pretty awful and we almost gave up on it. But we gave it a chance and man it pays off! Really funny, interesting characters, good twists. Highly recommend checking it out if you need a new show.

It has great online reviews as well, not sure how the Entertainment board missed it!

No the first episode of s1 was awful, the rest were great.

It is worth the slog IMO, but I know exactly what you mean.
