Very sad when I heard this, just FAR too young. I just saw them a months back w/ High on Fire in Houston and PT rocked. Have listened to a bunch of their stuff over the years when some buddies got me into them. Only got to see them the one time, but they were awesome. Old school no-frills groovy hard rock band.

I'm not expecting many here to know of this band, although they got pretty big. I knew riley for close to 15 years and he was always ALWAYS one of the best dudes. They were probably one ofnthe largest current thrash bands out there right now and certainly one of the largest bands from texas in the last however many years, particularly in the metal world.

Seriously, Power Trip was one of the few new metal bands of the past decade to really leave an impression on me. This year can't be done soon enough.
