Yes. It's a solid show. You'll get hooked from the get go.

we watched the first episode. i can tell it's a quality show, but that was several months ago, and we haven't watched any more. nasty people. your mileage may vary.

Yes...A really enjoyable show to watch. And Brian Earl is right. Very funny for a drama, and cousin Greg is going to end up running the company before this show is over.

First 2 episodes are needed to set the tone but it picks up around episode 3 or 4. It's incredible.

Exactly what I was thinking. I've found that those who need "likable" charterers and think Succession is bad usually don't enjoy most of those other shows as well.

I agree with you! It's why I've gone back to the well three or four times with the show to give it another chance. Watched first episode and did not like it, went back for a few more, then a few more, then continued to hear great things about later seasons, and watched episode 6. That's as far as I've gotten.

I do not enjoy Brian Cox as an actor, at all. Or any of his characters in general. The boardroom scene where he wouldn't leave was so absurd to me. The scene where he went to the bathroom in his sons office. I don't know - I can't explain it I guess. I know each show I've named above has similar scenes. I just don't like this show.

Gigem, by any chance do you work in renovation of multi million dollar vacation homes, and did you get stiffed and yelled at by a guy who looks a lot like Brian Cox?

I have watched this probably 50+ times since it came out. It's truly one of the funniest parodies I've ever seen.

I think the writers are trying to one-up the vulgarity from Veep, but there is still a very compelling story line with Kendall's substance abuse issues, Roman trying to grow up, and Shiv trying to decide what she wants. Definitely entertaining but I'm not sure it's canon yet.
