There's basically three runs of it right? Like a 90s run, a reboot with Wayne Brady and Greg proop and the tall guy from drew Carey, and then the current(ish?) drew Carrey run?

One of those shows I never randomly think, "I need to watch that show." However, when I happen across it, I can't stop laughing.

The first run was a British show; Colin and Ryan were on it in later seasons. Then the Americanized version started with Drew Carey as host. They were off the air for a while, then the newer version started without Drew Carey but a lot of the other same performers. In between runs they did a similar live show that they filmed but in a different format.

Just from a quick glance at Wikipedia, a lot of them apparently pitched/filmed a lot of similar improv shows including many shows that featured the same cast or multiple members of the cast.

I used to watch the show with the Brit host as a preteen/teen.

I mean... I laugh harder and more consistently watching Who's Line is it Anyways than I do watching SNL. Makes me wonder why it doesn't have the staying power.

segments I taped on my VCR were staples in my theatre classes.

Wayne is the most talented singer. he doesn't come close to Colin or Ryan for improve comedy.

There was also the "Wayne Brady Variety Show" somewhere in there.
And also "Drew Carey's Improv-a-ganza" for a short time.

Maybe deserving of its own thread but, does anyone here perform improv? I remember when I was at A&M there was a troupe called Freudian Slip.

I starting taking classes last year, it's been a fun experience. I never did it when I was younger, but have always wanted to.

Another classic:

I have a picture with Colin from about 8 years ago where he couldn't look any more unhappy to be taking a picture with me.

I also asked his friend to take the picture of us and didn't realize until later that his friend was Brad Sherwood (who was also on WLIIA). He was also not pleased with the demotion.

Robin Williams on whose line. There's times where he looks out of their league and they do it regularly!

It's timeless.

I don't think that I've ever watched a sketch show that consistently made me laugh hard enough to make my stomach hurt.
