What year would that have been? Lakeview would have some pretty big acts on occasion, although it seems like I was never there for them.

I think that ad was from 1970, but he played there more than once. There other similar ads from throughout the 70's.

I was just scrolling through some newspaper search hits looking for ads in anything near Houston or at familiar venues.

Lakeview was before my time, but I've seen other posters mention good times had there.
