Found this... I remember seeing this trailer, and thinking HOLY ****, he spun a web between the twin towers. Then of course 9/11 happened and that trailer, and everything about it was completely erased from everywhere... to the point where I was wondering if I had made up the twin tower helicopter image thing in my head..

So, nice to finally see someone find it and show it to prove I didn't just make it up.

Thought I'd share it here.

I ordered this teaser poster before 9/11 happened. It may be hard to see, but the twin towers are reflected in his eye piece.

I've kind of always wondered if that scene was specifically made for the trailer (and never intended for the movie itself), or did they cut it from the movie?

They cut it for the movie because it was deemed "too soon." But they also added the "you mess with Spidey you mess with us" scene in which regular New Yorkers through things at the Green Goblin when he has Spidey beat.

While some people thought it was hard to stomach, I thought Lilo and Stitch would have better served their narrative by keeping the part where they armed themselves with box cutters and screamed "allahu ackbar" at the aliens.
